Taiphakey Eco-tourism  is an non-governmental organisation expressly formed to promote eco-tourism in the eastern most part of India basically in Assam. Its headquarter is at Tipam Phakey, an ethnic village consisting mainly of Fakial community people , 2 Km away from Joypore town in Dibrugarh district, adjacent to the Historical place of Tipam and the Dehing Patkai Rainforest. It was formed in 2010 September to include a number of natural activities and unemployed youth of the Tipam fakey village in the vicinity right from its inception TaiPhakey Eco-tourism  in this area as an industry of International standard. Besides Historical place of Tipam and Rainforest / Dehing-Patkai Sanctuary is the main spot of attraction.


FacilitiesThe TaiPhakey Eco-tourism Camp has an Eco-camp at Tipam Phakey village with traditional fooding and lodging facilities. This includes lodging capacity 10 to 16 members per night, enjoy family picnic at Burhidihing River, Swiming at Burhidihing river , a memorable insight into ethnic Tai-Phakey culture and living styles, trekking, Bird watching, Library and more fun to explore.

We are sure, you too have a fervent desire to enjoy the awesome beauty of nature and to render your little but precious service conservation of nature. we promise to be with you in your enjoyment of the cheer beauty of nature; your understanding of nature and preservation of aiming at environmental conservation and all round development of the society through Eco-tourism. We, at TaiPhakey Eco-tourism Camp, have selected such spots viz., Rainforest, Dehing-Patkai Sanctuary and North-East India , where  tourist shall enjoy state-of-art programs related to unique culture and heritage of various tribes in and around the rainforest area like Tai-Phakey, Tai-Ahoms, Nocte, tea- Communities etc.

The general package of Tpetc:
  1. Adventurous Tour providing facilities for trekking , bird watching in deep of the Rainforest with adequate guidance from the resource persons. TPETC arranges  facilities in Rainforest for Camping and  Natural Photography. It also provides Resource person and Library facilities for researchers and tourists.
  2. Enjoy Family picnic and group picnic at the bank of dihing river, Dillighat (7 Km), Sitakunda( 6km)
  3. Educational tour to Ethnic tribal villages like Namphakey village, Nocte Gaon, Ahom villages, Tea-community villages and Nepali villages 2-3 km away from TPETC.
  4. Ethnic Pilgrimage Historical place tour to the capital of first Ahom king Chao Lung Sukapha (1228AD) , Deohalee Pahar (3Km), Dighalighat, Nagaghat And Sitakunda etc.
  5. Sightseeing to Deomhalee Pahar, Burhidihing river, the Soraipung ( 8km) from TPETC.
  6. Bird Watching at Merbil, Sasoni village , near Naharkatiya (15Km). 
  7. Fooding and Lodging Facilities for sixteen person per night inclusive TaiPhakey traditional breakfast and one time meal and tea. Also the TPETC launces the fooding facilities of TaiPhakey traditional dishes
  8. Film and Documentary Shooting spots like Neepco Bridge, Rainforest, tipam mountains, and tea-estates.
  9. Library facilities for college students and researchers open for 24 hours.
For Natural activitists and students there is a provision for concession of 10%-20%. It is desirable that a group should comprise of at least 1 tourist for reasons of expenditure.
